Alaska Family Practice

Kenai, Alaska Providence Health & Services and a private practice in Kenai are partnering in search of a new Family Medicine physician to serve the community. One of the clinics four physicians is leaving to start a home health care business. The practice is a full-service family medicine/urgent care clinic that has built a solid reputation over the last 17 years. Group practices Family Medicine and takes care of minor trauma. Serious cases are flown to Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. The clinic physicians have a focus on comprehensive preventive care and are incorporating the use of equipment and tests such as bone density scanners, metabolic rate monitors and wellness labs. Excellent income and unparalleled quality of life in the area known as Alaskas Playground.

With 364 beds and a medical staff of 600, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the most comprehensive tertiary facility in the state and the only one with a dedicated Childrens Hospital.
