Kodiak, Alaska -- Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center has an immediate need for a BE/BC Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician to join our outstanding care team on amazing Kodiak Island. Position covers the ER for two 24-hour shifts per week. ER volume: Average 4,400 visits/year, or 12/day. Generous compensation plus vacation and full benefits.
As the only hospital on Kodiak Island, Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is truly a critical access hospital. The 25-acute-bed facility plays an indispensable role in the lives of nearly 14,000 residents in the city of Kodiak, the Coast Guard base and neighboring villages. With an MRI, 64-slice CT and other cutting-edge equipment, our physicians and a cadre of visiting specialists are able to provide advanced care right here in Kodiak. The hospital receives high marks from patients, physicians and employees alike.
