Cherokee Medical Center (CMC), a 60-bed, full-service facility, is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital offers a wide range of services including 24-hour emergency service, an intensive care unit, medical/surgical care; a swing-bed unit, home care and hospice services, general surgery, gastroenterology, and urology. Other services include diagnostic imaging, including x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine, mammography and rehabilitation including physical, occupational and speech therapy. CMC also offers respiratory care and diagnostic laboratory services. The hospital is located in Cherokee County near beautiful Weiss Lake.
