An established, growing practice in eastern Virginia is in need of an Endocrinologist to assist on a locum or locum-to-permanent basis. This practice has been in business for many years and just relocated to a new, beautiful facility. Each physician will have 3 exam rooms and 1 Medical Assistant assigned to them. The regular schedule is Monday Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with call being 1:2. Call is only required for permanent physicians. You can expect to see approximately 22 patients per day, 15 minute visits are scheduled for established patients and 45 minutes for new patients. Ideal candidates will be board certified in Endocrinology, have an active Virginia medical license and be willing to commit to at least 2 months of coverage.
