Endocrinology Practice - Multispecialty Group - Near Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex

Texoma Medical Center is recruiting a new Endocrinologist to the community of Dennison, Texas.

The new physician will join TexomaCare a well managed and successful functioning multispecialty practice of primary care and specialist physicians. The current practice is made up of 35 physicians - 2 are endocrine specialists. One of these physicians will retire in 2008. The practice is very busy and a new Endocrinologist is expected to come into a full, busy caseload in short time. The Endocrinologist will practice from one office and the practice is predominantly outpatient. Hospitalists do the routine hospital coverage and as a result there is little call.

Ideal candidates will have special interest in diabetes as well as general endocrine disorders.

TexomaCare will offer an excellent compensation and benefits package to include salary, insurances (health, vision, dental, malpractice, etc); paid time off; CME time and allowance; 401K; and more. The practice will have EMR in 2008.

There is a 95% retention rate of TexomaCare physicians. The physicians are able to spend time building the type of practice they really want because staffing, billing and managed-care contracting are addressed by TexomaCare. A physician Board of Directors governs TexomaCare addressing all medical practice issues. A Policy Board of TexomaCare Board members and Texoma Medical Center executives addresses business issues for the group not directly related to the clinical practice of medicine. Texoma Medical Center is a 234-bed, private, for-profit hospital system that has been providing comprehensive care to the people of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Denison offers a unique practice experience not often found in smaller communities. Texoma Medical Center is at the center of healthcare for the Northern Texas, Southern Oklahoma (Texoma) area with a 250,000 person, five county draw area. In this part of Texas, a 45 to 90 minute drive for patients to receive healthcare is not unusual and one-third of the patients come from southern Oklahoma.
