Endocrinologist needed for a practice located in the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area.
The practice is an independent, well-established, freestanding mid-sized endocrine practice, which is 100% endocrinology and diabetes. The practice has a fully operative electronic medical record, Our office is located in the new Health Services Pavilion of the one hospital we serve. The clinical support staff includes a nurse practitioner with a specialty in diabetes, a registered dietician, registered nurses, and a diabetes teaching nurse. One nurse is permanently assigned to assist the physicians making hospital rounds and seeing consults in the hospital. The practice also offers a high complexity endocrine laboratory on-site which offers stat capabilities for endocrine testing. There is also a DEXA scan and high-sensitivity thyroid ultrasound machine in the office. Research and teaching opportunities are available.
The compensation package is competitive, and the fringe benefits are generous, including paid vacation, educational opportunities, health and dental insurance, and 401(k). There is an opportunity to advance to partnership status in two years. Successful applicants must be at least board-eligible in Endocrinology
