This facility is seeking an 11th and 12th BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician to work in our Level II trauma center. ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required. Ultrasound certification will be required once on staff.

130 hours per month clinical time may be expected. Five different eight and nine hour shifts are covered in the ED. There are 25 hours of double and triple coverage each day for a total of 49 hours of MD coverage/day for the ED and Observation Unit. In addition, there is PA/NP coverage for the Fast Track. EMR and PACS.

The new 25,000 square foot emergency department opened in October 2008. The department has 18 ED rooms, as well as two large trauma resuscitation rooms and a fast-track program. Annual volume greater than 26,000. Our 6-bed observation unit opened in April 2009.

This is a physician directed, 240-physician multispecialty clinic and integrated hospital owned by a well-respected facility.

The city, with a metro area of 95,000, is home to a university that enriches the community with excellent speakers, concerts, plays and art exhibits on a regular basis. They have a bike trail that starts downtown and runs for over 80 continuous miles. The city sits at the confluence of two rivers; the geography is comprised of rolling hills, woods and farm land. It serves as the retail center for West-Central Wisconsin. You are, however, only 90 minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Twin Cities are known for their specialty shopping, professional sports teams and a multitude of fine arts, offerings among other amenities. It was ranked the city as the best place to raise a family in the State of Wisconsin 2008.
