This is an employed practice option with a five other EM physicians covering a Level III Trauma Center. (Doctor, if you're really gung-ho for severe trauma cases, this wouldn't be an ideal fit for you. But if you would prefer NOT to have that level of trauma.read on!)

Coverage consists of 12-hour shifts with the EM group members determining the schedule. Flexibility is key here and the group strives to develop a schedule that fits your lifestyle. Each physician usually practices 11-12 shifts per month. (Moonlighting is available if you have college-bound kids!)

Now, a little about the hospital itself. The Medical Center has 250 beds, a 16-bed combined medical-surgical ICU/CCU, cardiac cath lab, NICU and other full-range special care units and high-tech lab and radiology diagnostic services.

A Critical Care/Intensivist Service and a 24-hour Hospitalist Service are on site. The healthcare system has two other small community hospitals in Wisconsin and a total of twelve clinic facilities located in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
