Director sought for 13K volume, Level IV Trauma Center. Physicians work 13 12-hour shifts per month. Solid back-up of cardiology, orthopedics, pulmonology, GI, surgery and OB. Position will consist of 80% clinical and 20% administrative. The current Director has been there for 20 years and wants to go part-time. Hospital seeks someone who will take an active role in managing the department, suggesting performance improvements, etc. Hourly rate of $125 as an employed position with full hospital benefits. Administrative experience is preferred.
