An Emergency Room in a small coastal Virginia town, south of D.C., is seeking a locum tenens physician in the specialty of Emergency Medicine. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice with ER experience. This facility needs coverage starting in September when a permanent provider leaves. All shifts needing covered are night shifts from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. and span the following days; September 2nd - 3rd, 12th, 15th - 17th, 21st - 23rd, 25th 27th and the 30th. The October schedule will be available soon. All shifts cover an 8 bed ER that averages 10,500 visits annually and is a level III facility with backup in most specialties including; General Surgery, Orthopedics, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Urology and Internal Medicine.
