An ongoing Emergency Medicine locum tenens position is available at a Level IV, 20 bed Emergency Department in east Texas with 16,000 annual volume. An ABEM and/or BC/BE practitioner is needed to provide coverage to include: Stabilization and transfer, minor surgical procedures and seeing 20-25 patients per 12 hour shift. The ED is staffed 24 hours a day with nurses and physicians specializing in emergency care. State-of-the-art equipment, laboratory and x-ray services enable the facility to provide emergency care of all levels, within our capabilities, to an average of 1,400 patients per month.
