A permanent Emergency Medicine physician is needed in southeastern Tennessee. Join a single specialty group that is responsible for staffing a local 322 bed acute care hospital that was listed in the Top 100 for 2007 and 2008. The Emergency Medicine physician will responsible for treating approximately 10 Emergency Department patients per 10 hour shift performing a wide range of both noninvasive and invasive procedures including stabilizing severe trauma, suturing, minor surgery, Ultrasounds, intubations, Vent management and more. Ideal candidates will be either Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Family Practitioners or Internists with extensive Emergency Department experience are encouraged to apply as well. Applicant should have current ATLS, PALS and ACLS certifications which will be required within 90 days of start.
