Hospital Description:
Methodist Fayette Hospital has served the community of Somerville since 1972. Located just outside Memphis in Fayette County, the second fastest growing county in the State of Tennessee, this 46-bed facility serves as the portal to the entire Methodist Healthcare System and its seven hospitals and several surgery and diagnostic centers. The 8-bed Emergency Department was newly renovated in 2007 and sees approximately 8,500 patients annually. The Department features single physician coverage and flexible scheduling.

Somerville is a close knit, family-oriented community of nearly 3,000 residents located 45 miles east of Memphis in southwest Tennessee. Part of a metropolitan area of nearly 1.25 million residents, it is only a short drive to some of the Souths finest attractions. As the seat of Fayette County, Somervilles renowned small town atmosphere does not do it justice given the many things to see and do. This communitys rich historical tradition, great public and private schools, and a multitude of community of events all make Somerville a great place to call home.

Qualifications:
All physicians must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care specialty.
