South Carolina Emergency

This Regional Medical Center in the Carolinas is looking for a physician to join the ED team in this small rural facility. The hospital is NEW and the ER is well equipped. The hospital is a beautiful facility that includes 7 ER rooms, a 64 slice CT with cardiac capabilities, a 1.5 MRI, and a full digital radiology department. The position requires 24 hour shifts (6 8 per month). So you will work two shifts a week. The volume is 12,000 visits per year. The ED physicians work solo with an excellent staff of RNs. There is no ob. When the physician works their shifts there is enough time to sleep as they see on an average of 33 patients a day. There is a doctor on call room to accommodate the doctors. With working only two days a week you can also work other positions and they are okay with that arrangement if you chose to. This location is about 45 minutes to the beach. If you would prefer to live on the beach and commute, you are welcome to consider this option. The area is know for is hunting and fishing as well as easy access to the beach. This opportunity includes an hourly wage plus full benefits including malpractice insurance, health, dental, life, disability and paid time off (PTO).
