Sterling Healthcare is seeking Residency Trained physicians with recent ED experience for openings in Tiffin, Ohio.
Mercy Hospital of Tiffin is a general, acute care facility characterized by its family-centered care. It is owned by Mercy Health Partners (MHP) which encompasses six acute care hospitals and is the preferred provider of healthcare services for a 20-county area in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. The hospital offers a broad range of specialties including general patient services, diagnostic services, rehabilitation programs, occupational and physical therapy, and a sleep lab.
The Emergency Department at MHT has an annual volume of 14,600 and operates 24 hours a day with single physician coverage and 8 hours of Nurse Practitioner coverage.
Physicians work 12-hour shifts from 8 to 8 and receive excellent back-up provided by medical staff; excellent nursing staff and nurse management. They also work closely with the city and county EMS teams.
Tiffin is located along the scenic Sandusky River just 40 miles southeast of Toledo, Ohio.
