A facility located in upstate New York is looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician or Primary Care physician with a strong ER background for coverage starting in July. The ER's increasing patient volume has caused a need for expansion and an excess of 50,000 patient visits this year is anticipated. There is a completely renovated Minor Treatment Area with 9 treatment beds to compliment the main ED of 21 beds. Currently, there are 36 hours of MD coverage and 20 hours of PA coverage per day. Innovative scheduling is being discussed as a group. Sub-Specialty back up is comprehensive including a Hospitalist program. J-1, O-1, H1-B and Green card applications will be paid for.
