A facility in central New York is seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage. Annual ED volume is 37,000 and there are forty hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of PA/NP coverage daily. A practitioner will be considered with a minimum of one (1) year extensive ER experience after a completed residency.
Urgent care is located at a separate location and provides 12 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of PA/NP coverage. Shifts are 12 hours. The schedule is flexible and 6-8 shifts are available each month. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ED experience.
