A hospital in New York, about 1.5 hours from NYC, is seeking locum tenens coverage in the specialty of Emergency Medicine. Ideal candidates will have 10-14 shifts of availability each month, have completed residency training in EM and be either board certified or eligible and be within 5 years of completing program. This assignment starts ASAP or as soon as credentialing is completed, which will take about 3-4 weeks. You can expect to work 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. There is an additional mid-level on staff that works 7 hours during peak period. The annual census is 35k, ER physicians do not admit and EMR is used at this hospital.
