Excellent opportunity for a BE-BC EM residency trained physician in a high volume Academic ER in January 09. The department treats patients 21 and older and provides 24/7 Fastrack services for low acuity patients and the ER follow up office provides post discharge services to patients. 24 hour social service and psychiatric services are available and approximately 30% of the patients seen in the ER are admitted. Residents from all specialties rotate in the emergency department. This opportunity will involve teaching of residents, medical students, Pas and NPs. Faculty actively participates in resident education through weekly conferences, morning lectures, M & M conferences and follow up rounds. Residents from all specialties rotate through the ER as primary provides or consultants.
