Michigan Emergency

A hospital located in central Michigan is looking for a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician for coverage. The on site Emergency Services facility consists of 5 urgent/express care and 19 monitored, acute care beds. Surgical services and radiology are immediately adjacent to the emergency department for ease of access. Inpatient floors are easily accessed with an elevator immediately outside the ED department. This is a nondesignated emergency department with 40% of visits being urgent care, 15% are pediatric cases and 20% arrives via ambulance. The emergency department provides services to the community 24/7, with urgent care services available from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 a.m. There will be single, double and triple coverage. You will have a support staff consisting of RN's, HUC's, and PCA's. Scheduling is flexible. ACLS, ATLS are required and PALS is preferred.
