Our facility is a 113 bed acute care community hospital located in friendly South Central Massachusetts, with Level III Trauma Centers at two campuses, with over 35,000 visits per year.
Requirements: BCBE EM, EM residency required
Shifts are 12 hours, with overlapping coverage from Noon to 10:00 p.m. (M-F) and 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
Join our well established team of physicians, physician assistants, and nurses. All staff has special training in basic life support, ACLS and the majority with PALS. Additional backup, if required, is available from the Hospital's Medical Staff. Harvard Medical faculty physicians from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provide the on-site and off-site (specialists) radiology professional services. Telemedicine stroke consults are available via Mass General. An excellent relationship exists with Worcester and Boston facilities for any needed specialists and/or transfers.
The unit is well equipped and supported, and the campus has a new in-house 1.5 MRI and 64-slice CT unit, which are both located adjacent to the ECC; unit EMR is MedHost.

Our facility has a complete range of inpatient medical services (i.e., medical, surgical, ICU/CCU, psychiatric, pediatrics, OB/GYN beds and a two campus emergency medicine department) and a wide range of outpatient services including mental health, substance abuse, occupational medicine, and other programs. Our DI department boasts the latest technology, like a 1.5 in-house MRI, 64 slice CT and digital mammography. Radiology services are obtained via an arrangement with Health Center and are provided by Harvard Medical Faculty Group radiologists on site.
