The annual patient volume of this emergency department is approximately 57,000 including the fast track. The fast track sees approximately 14,500 patients annually and is covered by midlevels. The ED is newly designed and renovated with 27 beds. There is 52 hours of physician coverage. Hospitalist runs codes and the ED physicians read films and write orders.
