Our client in southwest Louisiana is seeking locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage. Ideal candidates will be BC or BE in Emergency Medicine or BC in a primary care specialty with significant emergency medicine experience.

This is a 20-bed Emergency Department with an annual patient volume of 24,000. High acuity level and some multiple traumas. No obstetrics.

Shifts are 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am with a total of 27 physician hours per day. There is also mid-level provider coverage from 9am-9pm and a Fast Track that is staffed by an additional mid-level from 12pm-8pm.
