Emergency Medicine Physician We have an independent group of 8 Emergency Medicine Physician and we are looking to add because of growth in our ER Volume. We currently have 36,000 visits annually to our Level Two Trauma Center. We need someone with two years of ER experience in a hospital with an annual census of 25,000 plus. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23 treatment rooms comprised of private rooms for special services (trauma, cardiac, pediatric, OB/GYN, psychiatric). 2 negative pressure isolation rooms. Four beds are designated "general treatment" for "Quick care" usage. 15 cardiac monitors and 4 defibrillators provide additional cardiac monitoring as needed. Starting Salary: $150 per hour12 hour shifts Double coverage for busy hours during the week Triple coverage for busy hours during the weekend Our Regional Hospital is a 259-bed (soon to be 304) JCAHO-accredited acute care facility that is located in south central Kentucky. We recently completed a $55 million project that added a five story patient tower, 25 additional acute-care beds and the addition of a three-level parking garage attached to our hospital. Our construction included expansion areas for our Rehab Unit, Neurosciences Institute and Heart & Lung Institute. Over the past Five years, the hospital has experienced extraordinary growth in the areas of service expansion, renovation and technology purchases and upgrades.
