Temporary coverage Emergency Medicine position for a Family Physician, Internist or Emergency Medicine physician. The medical centers in need of temporary coverage are 25-bed critical access hospitals and a 109-bed acute, intensive and skilled care hospital. Coverages do not require OB and are typically scheduled Fri PM-Sun PM or Fri PM-Mon AM. Coverages includes weekend call and inpatient rounds. Compensation ranges from approximately $1200-$3000+ per weekend depending on scheduled hours and actual time worked.
In order to participate, physicians must have a full license issued by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, a DEA Certificate, and malpractice insurance. Each provider also must agree to have a complete background check.
