A hospital in southern Illinois is seeking a permanent full time Emergency Medicine physician. The newly renovated Emergency Department has 17 beds and an annual volume of 23,000. There is single physician coverage. Shifts are 12 hours and the schedule is flexible. 12 to 15 shifts per month are available. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) or Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. Current ACLS is required.
