Southern Illinois Healthcare is a not-for-profit healthcare system with three hospitals, several satellite facilities, over 2,000 employees and physicians. With 132 beds, Memorial Hospital of Carbondale is the largest SIH facility. With its filmless, digital PACS network, images can be viewed instantly on the hospitals secure network. Memorial Hospital also has an affiliation with Southern Illinois Universitys Medical School Family Practice Residency Program. The 15-bed Emergency Department sees over 28,000 patient visits annually. The ED also features a Fast Track area for treatment of minor injuries and a centralized nurses station allowing for easy patient monitoring.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be residency-trained, board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care specialty with extensive Emergency Medicine experience.
