Seeking 1 Full Time Emergency Medicine Physician for low volume facility in Hiawassee, GA. Annual ED Volume is 7,000 with 12 and 24 hour shifts available. Shifts are from 8am-8pm/8pm8am. Requirements: Board Certified/Board Prepared in Emergency Medicine or a Primary Care Specialty. Current ACLS, ATLS and PALS. The facility is a state of the art Emergency Center with helicopter service to major trauma and heart facilities if necessary. The emergency department is staffed 24 hours per day with lab and radiology services available. Outpatient Services include: Clinical Laboratory, Gastroenterology, Physical Therapy, Radiology, Respiratory Care, Specialty Clinics, Sleep Study, Telemedicine and Transusion Service.
Hiawassee is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Residents enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, camping and many other outdoor activities.
