PhyAmerica Government Services is seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC), Travis Air Force Base (AFB), California.

Qualifications: Physicians shall meet the experience, training, and certification requirements for the appropriate level of emergency medical staff physician in accordance with regulations. Each MTF Emergency Services is identified as a JCAHO Level I, II or III.

Shall have successfully completed an approved, Emergency Medicine (EM) residency acceptable to the USAF Surgeon General and be board eligible/certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.

Possess and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Current ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification is not required, however, successful completion of an ATLS course, with certification, at some point in the past is required.

Facility: DGMC is the Air Force's largest medical facility on the west coast, providing a full spectrum of healthcare and patient-centered treatment for over 86,000 TRICARE beneficiaries in the Northern California Prime Service Area. DGMC is a premier staging platform for combat support of OIF/OEF and humanitarian missions, such as support for the California wildfires. DGMC includes the VA Fairfield Outpatient Clinic, Clinical Investigations Facility and a community-supported Fisher House.
