Single specialty Emergency Medicine groups seek physicians for two hospitals in Tuscaloosa, AL.

First group staffs a 40K volume emergency department that sees low acuity patients and has a low admission rate. Physicians work 12 hour shifts. Hospital has an active hospitalist program to streamline admissions. Physicians can be either EM or PC trained plus experience. Hourly rate of $125/hour plus full benefits including retirement and malpractice.

Second group staffs a Level II, 70K volume facility providing 60 hours of physician coverage per day. Hospital has an active hospitalist program to assist with admissions. Package includes $125/hour plus benefits including $20K contribution to a 401k after the first year. Candidates need to be EM or PC trained plus solid experience with trauma. ACLS and ATLS also required.
