This cardiovascular group which also includes two cardiovascular surgeons has a combined 135 years of practice experience. Their Heart Center provides on-site diagnostic services that include cath lab, echo lab, and nuclear services. Their diagnostic area features state-of-the-art equipment and a highly qualified medical staff. The Heart Center actively participates in many national research programs furthering knowledge of heart disease. Open Heart surgery is done at a local 388 bed hospital that is undergoing an expansion project adding a new 128 bed patient tower next year. The hospital is affiliated with one of the largest health-care organizations in the US.
