Corporate Medical Director

The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, one of the nations largest community health clinic systems with 20 ambulatory care clinics located throughout Washington and Oregon, seeks a competent, skilled, and highly dedicated Corporate Medical Director.

We are looking for a mission-minded physician who can effectively

  • Develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to JCAHO standards and implement a system-wide quality assurance program.
  • Participate in Executive Committee, acting as the liaison for providers, and disseminate administrative direction to clinicians.
  • Recommend clinical objectives.
  • Develop and implement criteria to review clinicians performance and productivity.
  • Review credentialing and privileging of clinicians.
  • Plan and develop a possible family practice residency program.
  • Provide medical services for patients; perform associated hospital duties, call and charting.

    Education and Experience: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school. Graduate-level courses or degree in healthcare administration, medical management or business administration is desirable. Current licensure in at least one state and eligibility for licensure in Washington. Board certification is required. Must have demonstrated leadership in clinical, educational and administrative duties. Experience working with managed care contracts a plus. Must have significant experience as a practicing physician and experience supervising physicians.
