NYCity Medical Director position, available in prestigious private financially secure long standing community based ambulatory care center;Board Certiified Internal Medicine, Family Practice specialty sought with experience and leadership skills in clinical and managerial work. Certification or experience with HIV population is helpful but does not reflect the majority of the patient population. An ability to communicate in Spanish is helpful. The clinic is located in a desirable section of New York City accessible to all forms of transportation and with multiple specialties in primary care work.The duties are diversified, will involve a combination of some clinical work and management of a staff of physicians and administration duties. The position reports to the President/CEO.The center has some hospital affiliation but the position requires no on call or rounds.
