This community is in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Wine Valley. Home of Oregon State University, the city of over 50,000 people is the quintessential college town. The wide streets are sheltered by ancient trees and lined by red brick and white masonry buildings. The citys location along the Willamette River and central location makes this an ideal place to live while exploring nearby areas such as the Coast Range, Pacific Ocean beaches and wildlife areas.

You can fish, boat or water ski less than a block from downtown. You can walk the Pacific Ocean beaches an hour away or snow ski in the Cascades just over two hours to the east.

In September a three day event called Fall Festival takes place. When artisans from all over the country converge to display and sell their wares, while musicians perform and local restaurants showcase their most popular dishes in the Central Park area.

Running and biking are favorite pastimes in this community. Bike lanes are included on most streets and there are routes along the river, trails for hiking and biking through Avery Park and Peavy Arboretum.
