Pulmonary/Critical Care physician needed in North Carolina with a background in Sleep Medicine to join one other. Cover only one hospital with no primary call responsibilities, functioning in the hospital as a consultant only, even in the ICU. Admissions and phone calls are handled by a fully staffed Hospitalist group, limiting the number of times the on call physician is call to the hospital after hours and on weekends. The practice is geared towards Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine with less emphasis on Critical Care. Incoming specialist will practice Sleep medicine in a "State of the Art" Sleep Lab just a 2 minute walk from the main office. The work schedule will be 4.5 days per week, with 1/2 day off per week. This is an ideal opportunity for a family oriented physician or a physician who wants to have a great quality of life outside of work.
