In Massachusetts an additional academic physician is needed to join in the clinical, teaching, and research activities of the Pulmonary Center. Areas of interest include weaning from mechanical ventilation, complex airway management, non-invasive ventilation and sleep disordered breathing. Available is an active research program focused on recovery from critical illness. An interested candidate should have an interest in teaching, research and integrated clinical care of patients with complex pulmonary disease, be a good team player and be able to work with mid-level providers. Requirements include board certification in Pulmonary Medicine and board certification/eligibility in Critical Care. Training in Sleep Medicine would be an advantage but is not required.
