Seeking two Cardiologists to join an outstanding practice in a scenic, coastal region of southeastern Virginia. This practice is affiliated with one of the nations strongest healthcare providers, whose flagship facility is a newly renovated, state-of-the-art, and 576-bed community hospital. This medical center supports three residency programs, and includes a staff of highly trained physicians across the entire spectrum of medical specialties.
The practice is seeking two associates to join this expanding four physician Cardiology Group with a solid support staff of over thirty people. Based in one of the regions fastest growing communities, this opportunity is structured to thrive through the uncertainties of reimbursement and regulatory changes. The practice provides a unique blend of hospital-support, physician control, and community acknowledged need. The ideal candidate will have invasive or non-invasive training and experience and be board certified or eligible.
The Virginia Peninsula is perhaps best known for its significance in American history and for contributions its citizens continue to make to the nations progress in space exploration (NASA Langley) and defense. The market area served by the practice is home to approximately 600,000 individuals and reaches from Smithfield, VA in the south to Gloucester, VA in the north. The western part of the service area includes Williamsburg traveling south towards Newport News, York County, Poquoson and Hampton, VA locations surrounded by water. South eastern Virginia has developed a very balanced, diverse, dynamic economic and cultural platform that today complements what was historically a blue-collar workforce with a wonderful work ethic.
