Florida Cardiology Noninvasive

This is, a group practice of five, have been in town for 20 years. The practice is comprised of five physicians, one non-invasive and four interventional. All physicians are American, American trained and board certified. The group was founded in 1982 by Louis D. Rosenfield, MD, who is still actively practicing, as are the second and third partners to join the group. They opened the first physician owned freestanding outpatient cardiac cath lab in the state in 1988. They also have SPECT nuclear cameras, CHF infusion clinic, coumadin clinic, pacer clinic, blood lab, hotler scanning department, dedicated vascular and cardiac ultrasound, MVTWA testing, etc. These services are housed in their main campus located in Port Charlotte. They have a full time office in Punta Gorda, and part time satellite offices in North Port and Arcadia. Each physician has at least two NPP staff members. They service all three local hospitals, two in Port Charlotte and one in Punta Gorda, all within a fifteen minute radius. . Salary guarantee plus production bonuses of negotiable percentages, moving expense of up to $10K, CME time and expense allowance, vacation, and insurance is offered. Call is 4 and 4 until partnership, at which time call is shared equally among the partners. Partnership tract is negotiable at two years or less. The physicians are essentially autonomous individual practices under the umbrella of the group practice, allowing the physicians the ability to set their own hours, time per patient and staffing levels, etc., while sharing all non-MD team resources. This model allows a tremendous level of independence and flexibility for the physicians, while still enjoying the benefits of a group practice.
