Cardiologist needed in Southwest VIRGINIA Our Hospital is seeking an Invasive Cardiologist to join a hospital employed single specialty group. Currently there are 2 Interventional Cardiologists in the market wth a need to grow to 4. Brand new cardiology building with ancillaries completed construction in 2008. A second state of the art Cardiac Cath Lab has just been completed as well as an exisiting Dual Lab for Cardiology and Radiology diagnostics. Currently performing surgeries for pacemakers, ICD's & Bi-V ICD's, caths, stents & balloons. Last year the hospital performed approximately 1000 procedures, with approximately 650 being cardiac catherizations. Electrophysiology program started in September, 2004 has recently been suspended due to the intimely death of our EP physician. Immediate need for an Invasive- Non Interventional Cardiolgist performing Diagnostic Caths. Plans to add an EP specialist in the future. Call 1:3. Salary range 375K - 450K.
