One of the largest physician-owned and governed multi-specialty clinics in the Midwest is seeking a Cardiologist to serve as the Program Director for the new Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program, as well as provide clinical cardiology services alongside nine other physicians in the department. Responsibility between serving as Program Director and offering clinical services will be divided 50/50.
Brand new, state-of-the-art facility Program Director responsibilities: develop new fellowship program and ensure that it meets accreditation standards, creating education activities, policies and recruitment strategies so that a highly successful fellowship program is created Clinical responsibilities: non-invasive position providing services including interpreting echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology, EKG, TEE and stress echo, as well as routine inpatient and outpatient care Must have a minimum of five years of active faculty participation in an ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship program Competitive market-based salary plus professional compensation for clinical services Comprehensive relocation package and full benefits LOCATION
