Cardiology- Coastal Connecticut- Well-established group- 20k in bonus General or Non-Invasive cardiologist needed in medium size private practice. They offer a competitive salary with benefits including 3-4 weeks vacation, malpractice coverage. A negotiable sign-on and relocation package up to 20k are available. Candidates should be skilled in Diagnostic Cath and one or more of the following: Trans. echoes, pacemaker checks, pacemaker implantations( not essential ), and Cardiac CT angiography interpretations. There is an opportunity to achieve LEVEL 2 certification in Cardiac CT angiography interpretations. The call schedule is 2 nights a week, one weekend a month and one shared weekend every 6 weeks (either a Saturday or Sunday). The hospital has an inpatient Hospitalist service which admits patients and will consult on an as needed basis. Need to go in for night admissions is quite rare. Practice is successful and well-established Cardiologist with a large referral base in. The practice location is only 3 minutes from the hospital. They will have EMR within the year. The practice currently offers general cardiology consults, Echo with doppler, stress Echoes, treadmill exercise tests, holter monitors and ambulatory blood pressure checks. Plans include pacemaker check capabilities and launch of a device clinic in partnership with a cardiac EP practice in the area. The medical and general community is very welcoming and looking for new cardiology talent to come into the area, and have a substantial need for cardiac services.
