Two Invasive Cardiologists are needed in Henry Cou :: Virginia

* Hospital looking to recruit two BC/BE Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologists-Job #18577 due to current patient volume and need in the community. * This Hospital is a 200-bed, full service, acute-care community hospital with and active medical staff of 90 physicians. * Their cardiology team consists of an Interventional Cardiologist and an Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist on a long term locums assignment until the hospital can recruit two permanent Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologists. * One of their needs is due to an unfortunate illness of their third Cardiologist in November, 2008.

* Recent capital improvements include a new 64-Slice CT Scanner, Picture Archive Communication System (PACS), Ambulatory Surgery Center and renovation of the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. * They have also added a second Phillips cath-lab to accommodate their Interventional Cardiology Program. * The hospitals state-of-the-art technology includes echocardiography, TEE, venous duplex ultrasound, arterial studies, carotid ultrasound, EKG, Holter monitors, stress testing, and CardioBepper service. * They have diagnostic nuclear medicine capabilities including cardiac Persantine-Thallium Stress Testing and non-invasive peripheral vascular testing. * The construction of their independent Cardiology Center was finished in January of 2008 and upon the recruitment of a second Invasive Cardiologist to join their group the building will be furnished with a Nuclear Camera, Echo, and stress testing equipment. * A share of ancillary revenue will be in addition to the cardiologist compensation package. * Candidates will receive a competitive income guarantee commensurate with training, experience, and board certification. * Comprehensive benefit package is available. * Employed position. * Call of 1:3.
