This premier cardiovascular practice is looking to add an Interventional Cardiologist-Job #13005 or Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist-Job #13006 (cardiac CT training would also be a plus) to their growing practice. This group consists of two. Interventionalists (one of whom is trained in peripheral vascular procedures) and one Invasive Cardiologist who is trained in pacemaker insertions. Each of these cardiologists is board certified in internal medicine, as well as subspecialty boards. The practice has a nuclear camera and an echocardiogram in house. As well, the practice has several studies in clinical and basic research. They see patients at the two major hospitals within a half mile radius. The two hospitals have a total of eleven cath labs between the two facilities. The governance of the group is based on strong team effort between the physicians and a non-physician administrator. They believe in high clinical standards coupled to sensible business policies and practices.
The salary and time to partnership is competitive commensurate with training, experience, and board certification. Full benefit package that includes malpractice, health for physician and family, life, and disability insurances; vacation; CME with expense allowance; relocation expense; and licensure/dues. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team are a prerequisite for hire. Call will be 1:4, with a weekend every three months.
