Opportunity for a BC/BE Non Non-Invasive Cardiology-Job #15875 or Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiology-Job #15876 to join a leading Hospital System in southern Illinois, just over an hour from St. Louis. There are approximately 140 physicians and allied health practitioners on their medical staff representing most all specialties. There are three cardiologists in the community with additional cardiologists that come in weekly from nearby communities. The hospital has 55 licensed beds. Diagnostic caths and interventions are done at one of the largest health care organizations in the region, which is also in this community or at another Regional Medical Center just 40 miles away. This is an employed position. An employed physician may share an office and staff with other employed physicians; or be solo in an office with no other physicians.

The hospital employs a full time Physician Practice Manager who coordinates and assists with the physicians start up and ongoing business management of the practice enabling the physician to focus on practicing medicine. Call is shared by a 6 physician Cardiology group at a sister facility approximately 40 minutes away.
