Our Hospital is a JCAHO accredited 135-bed, acute care general hospital, with a referral area of 145,000 people and secondary service draw of 250,000. It is a member of the Federation of American Hospitals, Tennessee Hospital Association and the American Hospital Association. Some hospital features include: a Womens Pavilion including six labor, delivery and recovery rooms, 10 private post-partum rooms and a 10-bassinet level one nursery; medical and surgical units; a seven-bed intensive/coronary care unit; a 27-bed rehabilitation unit; physical therapy department; surgery department with a day-surgery program; endoscopy laboratory; cardiac testing; radiology department, including nuclear medicine, arteriography, mammography, ultrasound, CT scanning and MRI; and the Emergency Care Center with 24-hour physician staffing. There is a complete pharmacy and a modern, well-equipped CAP and AABB certified clinical laboratory within the hospital. There are approximately 250 employees on the hospital staff, and 98 physicians and dentists on the active medical and courtesy staff. A medical professional building, with available office space, is located adjacent to the hospital.
