Multi-specialty group in Albuquerque, New Mexico looking for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist-Job #18145 and a Non-Invasive Cardiologist-Job #17425 due to growth in their busy practice. This well established practice is the largest physician-owned organization in New Mexico and offers the Albuquerque area a comprehensive range of services that now includes more than 40 medical specialties with 230 physicians, 70 mid-level care providers, and 900 employees. Their outstanding services are being delivered by board certified physicians who are highly skilled and passionate about the quality of care they provide. All cardiologists are expected to treat general cardiology patients in the office which includes reading echo, nuclear scans, ECGs, and treadmill testing, as well as treating patients within their specialty. The group is comprised of two Interventional Cardiologists (one of which is the chair of the dept), four Non-Invasive Cardiologists, and an Electrophysiologist that rotate through four locations. They also have a contract physician who is a board certified General Cardiologist specializing in lipids. Candidates will receive a competitive salary commensurate with training, experience, and board certification. Two years to partnership. General call is now 1:6 with Hospitalists assisting with cardiology admissions and Interventional call of 1:3.
