Missouri Cardiology Interventional

Cardiovascular group looking for a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist-Job #17700 with peripheral skills as a plus to join in the beautiful Ozark country of Branson, Missouri. Patient volume of approximately 15 to 30 per day. Privileges include advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), cardioversion, echocardiography interpretation including transesophageal stress echocardiography, holter scanning, treadmill testing, including radionuclide studies, and temporary pacemaker placement. Interventional cardiac privileges include: Insertion of permanent pacemakers (100+ annually); Implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICD) (50 annually); Cutting balloon, coronary angioplasty and stent placement (approximately 350 annually); 2,500 echos annually; 2,000 radionnuclide studies in office annually; 1,200 EKGs in office annually; Patient volume is 25 patients per physician; Admits of 533 patients per physician annually; 500 Holter monitors annually; 200 TEE annually per physician; 1,000 diagnostic caths annually.

The practice is located about two miles from the main campus of their 165 bed general acute care regional medical center. A total of 7 operating suites with a group of three anesthesiologists and seven nurse anesthetists. Attractive salary in the MGMAs 50th and 75th percentile depending on training, experience, and board certification.
