Northwest Texas Healthcare System is recruiting a new Surgeon to the community of Amarillo, Texas.

This is a private practice opportunity to join another General / Bariatric Surgeon in practice. The surgeon in the practice is well trained and experienced in laparoscopic general and bariatric cases. There is a large referral base covering 4 states for bariatric services and need in the community for other general cases including endoscopy if surgeon is interested. The new Surgeon will be welcomed to the medical community and can expect to build a successful practice.

Candidates will ideally be MIS trained with case experience in diverse general and bariatric cases. An outstanding compensation package including income guarantee, overhead expenses, relocation, partnership track and more will be offered.

The Bariatrics Program at NWTHS is fully staffed with all specialty support services represented on staff including patient education, dietary counseling, pulmonology, cardiology, psychiatry, gastroenterology and aftercare. The program staff are very involved in community, medical professional and patient education seminars. The hospital is operationally and financially committed to the allocation of space, equipment and other valuable resources to further develop services.
