Internationally renowned high-tech tertiary referral center in Louisville, KY, in need of full time Director of Anesthesia. Qualified candidate must have cardiac training/experience and be TEE certified. Leadership skills and team player required. Will be overseeing 14 MDs and 21 CRNAs, supervising (60%) as well as hands-on cases (40%). Over 12,000 inpatient surgeries performed annually including all five solid organ transplants- heart (10%), lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas. This hospital employed position will include 40 hours clinical practice along with average of 10 additional hours of Directorship responsibilities. Financial package to include $350-375K base salary, $50-100K directorship stipend, signing bonus, production bonuses, full benefits to include malpractice, health, life, ST/LT disability, vision, dental, pension plan, 8 weeks vacation/CME with up to $4K expenses, $5K relocation expenses. Must be BC with up to 15 years of practice experience. Client is actively interviewing and ready to hire qualified Anesthesiologist for 2010 start date. No visa issues please.
