The School of Medicine-Wichita , in partnership with the Health System, is currently seeking a

Chemical Dependency Physician to join its faculty.

Inpatient and Outpatient-based clinical practice

Chemical Dependency Physician, board certified or eligible in psychiatry, to join the University School of Medicine-Wichita, providing a wide variety of clinical care within our clinic and local VA hospital, instructing medical students and residents, and leading single and group therapy sessions based upon chemical dependency topics.

This position may be ranked either as assistant or associate professor based upon credentials.

Our facility has more than 100 full and part-time faculty and 900 volunteer faculty physicians who assist students as they complete their medical education. In addition, our facility sponsors 13 residency programs and trains more than 250 resident physicians each year in two private hospital systems as well as a Veterans Affairs facility.
