Position Description
Join an established health system affiliated multi-specialty group practice. Physician will provide outpatient care in his/her specialty not to exceed 20% of work week. The balance of the physicians time will be spent performing CMIO duties for the health system. Act as the CMIO physician liaison within the health system and group practice. Represent Susquehanna Health locally, regionally and nationally in a manner that promotes SH as a leader in the Information Technology industry. Chair clinical advisory groups to provide broad-based input into the design of the clinical information system. Participate in and develop educational events relative to Information Technology. MD or DO Board certified in specialty area. Minimum of five years progressive experience in healthcare preferred. Familiar with Siemens Soarian clinical and financial systems.
